they DO taste different!

Different people make profit by selling them. (Dr. Pepper owns the rights to both, but Pepsi bottlers distribute Orange Crush).
Sunkist Orange contains caffine.
You're also forgetting Coca-Cola's Fanta Orange which dominates the fountain market for orange soda.

Remember the Fanta commercials with those Fanta girls. They were dressed in different colors and they song that song that went like, "Spinning, Spinning, getting dizzy, you need something cold and fizzy. Fanta, Fanta, Don't you wanta Fanta, Fanta." That was fun.

I said it dominates the fountain market for orange soda. Very few fountain dispensers even have Sunkist. They'd have to be a Dr. Pepper account, which means RC cola, A&W root beer, Dr. Pepper, 7up, and Sunkist orange. I've never even seen a dispenser with Orange Crush.

gotcha. that's a shame...because fanta sucks! big red and orange crush is where its at! and yes, i remember the fanta girls. they might be the #1 reason i don't drink fanta drinks. i can't think of a more annoying commercial! haha

here's my favorite data:

3: number of thought provoking blogs on drought, spiritual discipline and service written in a row = ZERO comments

1: number of nonsensicle blogs about orange flavored, high fructose corn syrup, brain-dead friday, 8 worded blogs written = SEVEN comments.

why even try to make sense of it! it's friday..happy weekend everyone.

I only counted 2. When you post a response to your statement with the statement, it decreases the chances of eliciting other responses since it's possible that your readership will agree with the response you yourself posted and thus find the matter complete.

"Fizzy drinks sold by Coca-Cola in Britain have been found to contain pesticides at up to 300 times the level allowed in tap or bottled water. A worldwide study found pesticide levels in orange and lemon drinks sold under the Fanta brand, which is popular with children, were at their highest in the UK." - courtesy of digg.com

"I find it more surprising that there may be a trace amount of fruit."
